Access to the second floor had to be created in order to meet ADA codes.  Time restriction made the close working relationship with the Architect very important.  All utilities had to be brought from an existing occupied retail store adjacent to this space.  Design of the mechanical system was adjusted so as not to change the existing structural system of the old mechanical units.
